Jesus visit those in grief - his mother, Mary
Magdalene, the apostles.
Intention: That all those grieving the loss
of a loved one would have faith in the Resurrection.

how badly we need the hope of life beyond death
and freedom from sin. We need joyful priests,
brothers and sisters convinced of the power
of the Risen Christ.

learning to adjust to their new faith after
Jesus ascends into heaven. The Ascension reminds
us that Jesus is the Lord of all creation. Imagine
creation proclaiming this Reign.

of Jesus to intercede for us as he takes his
place at God's right hand.

respect for creation is integral to a holistic
spirituality. How has nature spoken to you about
the glory of God?
The Coming of the Holy
Spirit

behind closed doors in fear and then being released
by the power of the Holy Spirit. Picture their
joy as they realise many new gifts to preach
the Gospel.
Intention: That we would be moved by the Holy
Spirit to preach and teach God's word to people
of every race and tongue.

do things beyond their wildest imaginings. How
much free reign do you give the Spirit in following
your vocation? Where is the resistance?

death and her peace at having been faithful
her whole life long.

mother is echoed down the centuries by the faithful.
This mystery reflects the faith of the people
in Mary's place in the Church.
Mary is Crowned Queen
of Heaven
Visualisation: Imagine Mary, after all she
went through, being received into heaven
among the angels and saints.
Intention: That Mary would pray for all people
to fall in love with her Son and follow him
in their lives.
Connection: We have a mother who cares, who
prays for us, and has a powerful place near
her Son. We show that we have been cared for
by the way we care for others. Ask Mary's intercession
in your vocation discernment.
